About Our Gardens
The well kept gardens are extensive, they surround the cottages and various seating areas provide the perfect place to unwind on warmer days. The landscaped gardens take advantage of our elevated position and enjoy stunning views, which constantly evolve throughout the year. With each passing season, there are new sounds and glimpses of the ever changing countryside, whether it be the evocative call of the Curlew or the arrival of the Swallows. A large meadow adjacent to the gardens provides an incredible space to enjoy time together.
About Our Barbeque House
The barbeque house is idyllic, wooden with a central fire pit its an extremely fun way to cook in the evening. One of our friends affectionately calls it's 'Hagrid's hut' and you can almost imagine Harry, Hermoine and Ron plotting in here... but we would advise cooking a feast bought from one of the many farm shop's round here, of course with a bottle of wine and and to end a perfect evening don't forget to bring marshmallows to toast.
The barbeque house is a delightful way to cook in the evening. There are two options to booking this, you can either chose a serviced option for £55, this includes firelighters, charcoal, us lighting it for you, all crockery and cutlery and cleaning it afterwards, or you can choose a DIY option for £25. For the DIY option please do provide your own charcoal and firelighters. To guarantee the availability of your preferred choice of evening, please let us know prior to your stay if you would like to book it for one of the evenings you are here. The balance for this is normally added on to be paid with the remaining balance but if not can be paid on arrival but needs to be paid as soon as you arrive.
About Our Outdoor Hot Tub and Tennis Court
Set in an idyllic spot with far reaching views, on the edge of our meadow area, sits the outdoor Arctic Spa hot tub. Relaxing in a temperature of 39° with powerful jets of water providing the ultimate of massages it doesn't get much better than this - take time out to relax in our hot tub during the day or under the stars of the amazing clear night skies we enjoy here. And if there's snow on the ground, the hot tub experience is one not to be missed!
Just to complete the relaxing vibe of the hot tub, it sits in a secluded patio area with a corner wicker garden sofa and a dome shaped pod with the comfiest of cushions, take a break to recline, unwind and just enjoy being surrounded by nature.
The tennis court and hot tub can be booked whilst here.
Shared between all four properties, we have a really easy booking system for the hot tub with plenty of slots available to book every day between 9am and 10.30pm. You simply write your cottage name next to your chosen slot to reserve. Please do bring your own towels for the hot tub.
Our new installed tennis court enjoys panoramic views of the stunning countryside that surrounds us, the perfect way to spend some time polishing up your Wimbledon skills! The tennis court has a similar booking system to the hot tub with lots of sessions available each day. Please bring your own rackets and balls for the tennis court
